Recruitment and Sourcing Business Partner - RTS

Downer Rail & Transit Systems is looking for an experienced Recruitment & Sourcing Business Partner to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. Based in either Brisbane CBD or the Fraser Coast, this role offers the opportunity to partner with leaders across a dynamic and essential industry that keeps people and freight moving across Australia.

As a trusted talent advisor, you'll help drive workforce outcomes across operational, technical, engineering, trade and corporate functions. You'll combine strategic sourcing expertise with strong stakeholder partnerships to attract high-quality talent, build future talent pipelines and deliver an outstanding recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with leaders to develop talent attraction strategies that meet current and future workforce needs.

- Deliver an exceptional end-to-end recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders.

- Build and maintain talent pipelines across specialised operational, trade, technical, engineering and corporate disciplines.

- Provide market insights and talent intelligence to support informed workforce and hiring decisions.

- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives that strengthen workforce participation and broaden talent pools.

What You Bring

- Proven experience delivering successful recruitment outcomes within a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation .

- Strong capability across both blue-collar and white-collar recruitment environments.

- A proactive sourcing mindset with the ability to identify and engage high-quality talent.

- Well-developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a consultative approach.

- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and delivering great outcomes.
