About the role:

The Business Sales Centre sits at the heart of Origin’s LPG business, supporting our regional field sales teams to deliver on national growth and retention targets.

As Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of five Premium Business Consultants and two Team Leaders covering inbound and outbound sales, working across a substantial portfolio of SME and commercial customers.

This is a role for someone who leads like a sales manager first – building a genuine account management discipline within the team, connecting closely with our regional sales leaders, and getting out into the business to understand how our field, phone and digital channels work together.

You’ll spend time visiting terminals and regional teams, bringing that connection back into how the Business Sales Centre operates.

You’ll help drive a stronger retention and account management focus across the team’s dedicated account managers, while supporting a shift toward more efficient service through digital and CX channels.

What will you bring?

- A track record leading and coaching phone-based or field-based sales teams, with strong commercial instincts

- Experience building account management frameworks and driving a proactive, disciplined approach to portfolio management

- Confidence connecting with stakeholders across field, phone and digital sales channels, and a willingness to get out into the business to understand how it all works

- Strong people leadership skills, with experience developing and mentoring team leaders

- Comfort operating in a contact-centre environment, without losing sight of the sales fundamentals

- Great communication and stakeholder management skills, and genuine curiosity about our LPG business and customers
