Role Purpose
The Senior Global Mobility Specialist will play a key role in supporting DNV's Global Mobility Program and its stakeholders, ensuring compliant, efficient and employee-focused international assignment delivery.
This is a senior specialist position requiring strong advisory capabilities, end-to-end ownership and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and vendors. The role combines complex International Assignment management, vendor coordination, continuous improvement initiatives and contribution to strategic Global Mobility projects.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to employees, managers and internal stakeholders, helping to translate complex mobility requirements into practical solutions while ensuring a positive assignee experience.
Key Responsibilities
International Assignment Management
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of international assignments (pre-assignment, on-assignment, extension, repatriation).
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, managers and HR stakeholders, providing guidance on mobility policies, assignment scenarios, immigration, tax, relocation and vendor-supported services.
- Own complex and non-standard mobility cases and coordinate the required stakeholders and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with DNV policies and applicable local and global regulations.
- Deliver a high-quality assignee experience through proactive communication and problem solving.
- Take ownership of cases from initiation through completion, ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery.
Vendor Coordination & Service Delivery
- Coordinate service delivery across DNV's Global Mobility vendor network.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external service providers.
- Support vendor-related initiatives, reviews and service transitions where required.
- Act as a key point of contact between vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure vendors deliver consistent, compliant and customer-focused support.
- Identify service gaps and improvement opportunities to strengthen vendor performance and employee experience.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Global Mobility projects and service development initiatives.
- Support onboarding of new vendors and implementation of new services where required.
- Identify challenges, service gaps and improvement opportunities, and proactively drive them to resolution.
- Share knowledge and contribute to the development of operational guidance and best practices.
- Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving compliance, efficiency and employee experience.
