About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to join our team and help bridge the gap between business stakeholders and software development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, analyzing processes, and translating requirements into effective software solutions that align with organizational goals.
As a key link between business and technology, you will collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate communication, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects that drive operational efficiency and business value to towards maritime.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend technology-driven solutions.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and help prioritize business needs.
- Promote effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Management Support
- Support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities.
- Assist in defining project scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Track project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Work closely with project managers and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within software development or digital transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA , Confluence , or similar platforms.
- Experience or knowledge of the Marine Industry, Port Operations or Logistics/Supply Chain will be considered an advantage.
