Job Description / The Role –

Lead Transport Operations for One of Australia's Most Recognised Consumer Brands

Are you an experienced transport and logistics leader who thrives on delivering operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and driving strong customer outcomes?

Toll Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our dedicated transport operation across multiple sites in Yennora. This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for safety, service, financial performance, customer relationships, and continuous improvement across a critical national transport contract.

As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

You'll lead and develop operational teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with key stakeholders to optimise performance and deliver outstanding outcomes for both Toll and our customer.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to -

- Lead transport operations across multiple sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery.

- Drive operational performance against safety, service, financial and customer KPIs.

- Manage budgets, forecasting, labour planning and P&L performance.

- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

- Coach, mentor and develop operational leaders and frontline teams.

- Ensure compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law, fatigue management requirements and transport regulations.

- Identify and implement continuous improvement, productivity and innovation initiatives.

- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure all HSE obligations are met.

What We’re Looking for to Drive Success –

- Significant leadership experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations.

- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and P&L management.

- Demonstrated experience leading large operational teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Sound knowledge of transport legislation, compliance requirements and safety systems.

- Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Experience developing and managing KPIs to drive operational performance.

- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
