Senior Associate/AVP, SRE Operate, Site Reliability Engineering, Technology

Responsibilities

- Serve as the first line of support for production incidents and service disruptions.
- Execute recovery procedures through approved SOPs, runbooks, and automated recovery tools.
- Ensure operational alerts and incidents are acknowledged and acted upon within defined SLAs.
- Participate actively in major incident management activities to minimise business impact.
- Develop sufficient domain knowledge to support multiple applications and services within assigned domains.
- Drive adherence to operational procedures, governance standards, and risk controls.
- Contribute to operational reporting, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational discipline.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, cross-training, and capability development programmes.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in application support, production support, command centre operations, service operations or related technology operations functions.
- Experience supporting mission-critical applications in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Willingness to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays, or on-call rotations where operational support is required.
- Knowledge of Linux, Unix, databases, middleware, or cloud technologies.
- Good understanding of payments business processes and domain concepts are preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management disciplines including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
- Experience with application monitoring, observability, and operational tooling.
- Good understanding of application architectures, middleware, databases, cloud technologies, and distributed systems.
