About this role

Brief info about Vinted

Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:

Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.

Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.

Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.

Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.

Information about the position

While Vinted is growing organically at an unprecedented pace, the company is also making acquisitions and venture investments to fuel further growth. The Corporate Development team's goal is to add to Vinted's growth through inorganic routes. That means buying businesses that strengthen our platform and backing companies that are relevant to our strategy. The Corporate Development strategy is shaped together with the CFO and CEO, and the team leads every stage of a deal, from sourcing and evaluation through to closing, integration and portfolio follow-up. Each deal stage requires close work with other Vinted teams to make sure it delivers after signing.

To increase the contribution of inorganic growth, the Corporate Development team is looking for a Corporate Development Analyst / Senior Corporate Development Analyst to join the team. In this role, you will focus on assessing and evaluating both M&A and venture opportunities. This is a rare chance to join a fast-growing company where the deals you work on will offer a lot of room for professional growth. We're looking for candidates with a strong analytical skill set, a strong sense of ownership and a focus on results. You'll join the Corporate Development team and work closely with the Integration team to keep deals consistent from first assessment through signing and into integration.

You are expected to have a stellar capability on building out business cases, analysis of the performance of companies, identification of key performance drivers, building out cohort-based models as well as having a solid understanding of financial reports. You are also expected to connect quantitative data with qualitative explanations. On the venture side, you will also assess market size, round terms and cap tables, and track how our portfolio companies are performing

In this position, you’ll

- Build and model the business case and valuation for M&A and venture opportunities, and help shape the deal structure

- Build payout and earn-out models that follow the deal structure

- Prepare pro-forma cap tables and model round terms for venture investments (dilution, liquidation preferences, option pools)

- Work with other teams to make sure the inputs, and the business case as a whole, are high quality

- Follow Vinted's business performance closely so you understand our business and what drives it

- Research sectors, companies and investors to build and prioritise the deal pipeline

- Turn data into clear recommendations, and present them to senior stakeholders

- Drive financial and business performance due diligence together with the Finance team

- Work on deal documentation (term sheets, SPAs, shareholder agreements) and make sure the business case outputs are carried into it correctly

- Monitor acquired companies and the investment portfolio, and prepare periodic Return on Investment report

About you

- 4+ years of financial or business analysis experience in a high-performance environment, such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development at a high-growth tech company, or consulting

- Exposure to M&A transactions and/or venture investments

- A strong command of valuation methods, company financials, KPIs and market reports

- Experience pulling, analysing and visualising large data sets using Excel, Google Sheets and SQL, plus dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau)

- You actively use GenAI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to work faster, whether for market research, first-pass analysis, document review or automating repetitive modelling work, and you know where their limits are

- A structured way of working and exceptional attention to detail

- The ability to explain complex information simply, and to build good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
