Global Social Media Specialist

At Diesel, based in Milan (MI) we are looking for a Global Social Media Specialist to join our Global Marketing Team, with solid social media foundations and a strong cultural and aesthetic taste aligned with our brand DNA.
He / She will report directly to the Global Social Media Manager.

Main responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule and publish content across Diesel’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest, on a daily basis.
- Keep the social media editorial calendar up to date, coordinating deadlines, assets and publishing needs with the relevant teams.
- Support the approval process for content intended for APAC social media platforms, liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Help organize the production of content created specifically for social media, with particular attention to short-form video.
- Coordinate the practical aspects of social media productions involving creators, including garment and sample requests, in-store orders and sample movements.
- Daily follow-up on content, product and production activities to help ensure that assets are delivered on time.
- Work with the creative, production, PR, Media and Go-to-Market teams on social media activities linked to global campaigns and product launches.
- Review social media copy in collaboration with the dedicated copywriter, helping ensure consistency with Diesel’s tone of voice.
- Management of social media reporting and performance analysis, monitoring key KPIs and translating insights into actionable recommendations to optimize the global social media strategy.
- Research emerging creators, talents, formats and cultural trends that could inspire relevant content for the brand.

Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; previous experience with fashion brands will be considered a plus.
- A degree in Economics with a focus on Marketing and Communications is required; professional certifications or coursework in Social Media/Digital Marketing will be appreciated.
- Strong passion for the digital world and fashion, with a constant commitment to staying updated on industry trends and social media evolution.
- Ability to develop content strategies and conduct market analyses.
- Goal-oriented mindset, flexibility, enthusiasm, initiative, ability to propose ideas, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-player attitude.
- Fluency in English, alongside proficiency in using key tools for monitoring and measuring a brand's web presence, completes the profile

Location: Milan (MI)

Compensation & Level:
- CCNL Textile Industry, Level 4°
- Salary range (gross annual): € 28.000 - €33.000
- Variable incentive plan: 5% of gross annual salary
The final offer will be determined based on experience, skills, and level of responsibility. We are open to candidates with different levels of seniority.
