Cybersecurity is more than a single specialization. It combines technology, processes, people, and constantly evolving threats. The Siemens Healthineers Cybersecurity Academy is designed for students who want to build a strong cybersecurity foundation while gaining practical experience in a real-world security environment.

Built around the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0, the program combines structured learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience across multiple cybersecurity domains. Participants work alongside experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and gain exposure to real cybersecurity challenges within a global healthcare technology company.

How It Works

The program combines two complementary components:

Academy

The Academy component provides a structured learning journey through workshops, mentoring, practical exercises, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Participants gain exposure to a wide range of cybersecurity topics, from emerging technologies such as AI in Cybersecurity to areas including Zero Trust, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Penetration Testing, and Offensive & Defensive Security practices.

Working

Alongside the Academy, participants become part of a cybersecurity team and gain hands-on experience by contributing to real projects and initiatives. This allows students to apply newly acquired knowledge in practice while working closely with experienced cybersecurity professionals.

Work Experience

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for motivated students with a strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to continuously learn and develop.

You should be comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken, and be able to collaborate in an international environment.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing university studies in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field. Familiarity with topics such as networking, operating systems, scripting, or cybersecurity fundamentals is considered an advantage.
