During the maternity leave of the current Controlling Manager, for our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for a:
Controlling Manager
You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
- Manage the daily business in close collaboration with the Finance Director
- Be a strong sparring-partner for the Finance Director, our internal departments and closely collaborate with our European HQ
- Be responsible for full P&L management (sales and cost controlling) for our retail and web businesses in Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia
- Assure the preparation and monitoring of budget and revisions (including Cash and B/S forecasts) and closely follow up with budget owners
- Consolidate countries to total HUB level
- Standardize and enhance controlling processes with the HUB
- Prepare ad-hoc requests
- Prepare, analyze and present weekly & monthly reporting to internal stakeholders
- Manage and control monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Contact person for auditors for all controlling questions
- Manage a team of ~4 controllers and work in close collaboration with the Controlling Project Manager

- Hold a master degree in business economics with major in finance & controlling
- Have profound professional experience in the field of Controlling of at least 8 years, preferably in a retail environment
- Have knowledge and experience in monthly and yearly closing regarding the guidelines of HGB & IFRS
- Are highly skilled in the application and use of excel
- Are SAP experienced
- Have profound Knowledge with Microsoft Office
- Are fluent in English (written and verbal), German & French is a plus
- Show a high degree of self-initiative
- Have the ability to cope with stress
- Are flexibile & have a strong hands-on mindset
- Have strong analytical & communication skills
- Have experience in multiple Stakehoder-Management
- Have several years of experience in people management
