We are recruiting a Legal Engineer to join our Knowledge, Innovation & Change function. This role sits at the heart of our legal innovation strategy, helping to transform the way legal services are delivered through the application of AI, legal technology, process improvement and automation.

Working closely with lawyers, business professionals and innovation specialists, you'll design, build and embed solutions that improve efficiency, enhance quality and create greater value for our clients.

The team operates across all offices in the firm, providing successful applicants with the opportunity to shape the future of legal service delivery at one of the world's leading professional services firms.

Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, and w e operate a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model , however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

- Must be a Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or Scotland), or a law graduate/postgraduate legal qualification holder with a minimum of two years' experience within a law firm or legal services environment.
- Strong understanding of legal operations, legal service delivery or knowledge management within a law firm environment.
- Must be able to confidently talk to and engage stakeholders, including senior lawyers, to gather requirements, conduct user testing and support solution adoption across the firm.
- Demonstrable experience using generative AI tools to support legal work and improve legal service delivery.
- Experience analysing, mapping and improving legal or business processes, including building or implementing legal technology, AI, automation or workflow solutions.
- Exposure to platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Legora, Power Platform, document automation or related legal technology solutions.
- Experience delivering user training, guidance materials and support to help drive adoption of new technology solutions.
