Job Description:
• Supports the analysis and improvement of business processes, systems, and workflows. The Business Analyst II is highly organized, understands the SDLC, performs data and process analysis, elicits and documents requirements, and communicates effectively with technical, operational, and management stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and system requirements through interviews, workshops, observation, and review of existing materials.
• Analyze data, business functions, operating procedures, systems, and workflows to identify trends, issues, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate current-state processes and develop clear future-state process recommendations that improve effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Support activities across the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements definition, solution design, development support, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Organize and maintain requirements, process documentation, decisions, action items, schedules, and traceability to support coordinated delivery.
• Communicate findings, risks, options, and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences while managing stakeholder expectations and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Business process evaluation and improvement
• Requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Understanding of business systems, system interactions, and workflows
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication
• Stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and relationship management
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with an Associate degree.
• Experience should include data analysis, process evaluation, requirements elicitation and documentation, analysis of systems and workflows, SDLC participation, stakeholder management, and communication of findings and recommendations
