On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Platform Quality Assurance Test Analyst Senior (Inside IR35) for a 18 Months contract based Hybrid in Corsham .

As a Platform Quality Assurance Test Analyst Senior , your main responsibilities will be:
- Use the most appropriate tools and techniques to analyse artefacts such as products, services, processes and change, to identify risks early
- Work with others to support teams in developing approaches, plans and strategy, considering environments, data, tools and resources
- Communicate chosen approaches, tools, techniques and outcomes to stakeholders
- Guide others in quality assurance tools and techniques
- Contribute to, and enable others to follow, quality assurance and testing standards
PLEASE NOTE: SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
Essential:
- Proven experience in a QA/Test Automation role covering both application and platform/infrastructure testing.
- Strong hands-on UI and API automation experience, including developing or maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Practical experience testing applications deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Experience validating platform/infrastructure changes, including deployments, platform health, networking/connectivity, storage and configuration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code validation, using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi or similar.
- Strong CI/CD experience, including automated testing and quality gates.
- Experience with cloud and containerised environments.
- Experience in reliability and non-functional testing, including stability, resilience, availability and recovery validation.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across application and platform layers.
- Good scripting/programming capability for test and infrastructure automation.
- Good understanding of Agile, DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly working with Developers, Platform and DevOps/DevSecOps Engineers.
- Active SC Clearance.
