Job Description:

An opportunity for a Data Analyst & Problem Solver Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations , Illescas (Toledo).

The selected candidate will join the Industrial & Plant Operations Team to bridge the gap between complex datasets and strategic business decisions. In this role, you will investigate operational and strategic issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend actionable solutions. You will play a key role in driving the predictive plant strategy through AI tools and data analytics while serving as an Export Control focal point (EPoC) for the plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive Data Analytics & AI Initiatives: Collect, clean, and analyze complex industrial datasets to develop predictive digital tools, automate data pipelines, and build monitoring dashboards for key plant KPIs.
- Lead Advanced Problem Solving: Investigate complex shopfloor issues using 9S/8D and advanced methodologies, identifying root causes, implementing containment/corrective actions, and tracking ROI for plant management.
- Promote Export Control Compliance (EPoC): Act as the primary local point of contact for export control compliance, providing elementary guidance, escalating potential breaches, and supporting Export Control Officers.
- Mentor & Stakeholder Management: Guide the industrial community in data analytics best practices, supervise subcontracting team deliverables, and influence key stakeholders through data-driven evidence.
- Process Optimization & Recurrence Prevention: Implement SPC analysis, data-driven tolerances, and optimized process windows to prevent issue recurrence and establish robust preventive mechanisms.

- Education: University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Aeronautical, Computer Science), Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in industrial environments applying data analysis, root-cause investigation, and advanced problem-solving methodologies on the shopfloor.
- Technical Knowledge: Advanced skills in Data Analytics (Python/Pandas, Machine Learning, Data Visualization) and practical working knowledge of Generative AI tools and concepts.
- Methodologies: Strong background in statistical process control, Pareto principle, structured problem solving (8D/9S), and project management.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, solution-oriented mindset, strong written/verbal communication, high attention to detail, and ability to influence/facilitate cross-functional teams.
- Languages: Advanced level in English and Spanish.
- Valuable / Nice to Have: Shainin Certification (Apprentice minimum), Google Advanced Data Analytics Capstone, or prior exposure to Export Control / Compliance processes.
