What impact you’ll make:
As a member of the Gas Power Global Supply Chain Process Center of Excellence, the horizontal site support for manufacturing and repairs operations is the key finance partner flexing across multiple sites globally. This role is responsible for comprehensive and compliant financial planning, closing the books, reporting and analysis of results to downstream site operations and finance leaders. The mission of the horizontal site support is to drive improvements to core finance processes and partner with Data & Analytics COE to create tools & analytical solutions enabling efficiency to downstream operating partners. This role has indirect oversight over operational costs such as maintenance / utilities / tools and supplies or Sales - COGS.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Support manufacturing finance activities and rhythms, including planning, pacing, and monthly operating reviews (MOR).
- Lead own scope closing, pacing and planning.
- Ensure alignment to company policies and standard work.
- Perform limited number of transactional activities such as internal billing of FPC costs and / or booking of accruals.
- Provide insights and transparency to actual costs, identify and effectively communicate financial risks, opportunities and impact on operational KPIs.
- Understand and effectively communicate financial variance drivers on actuals versus plan, or plan versus previous plan including volume, mix, FX.
- Maximize utilization of ERP capabilities for LEAN monthly closing.
- Actively identify and effectively share best practices, identify and implement simplification / automation and AI initiatives.
- Support fixed production cost factory leaders to understand drivers of cost and impact to the financial plan.
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders such as: Operational cost owners for correct understanding drivers of actuals and budget spends.
- Finance leaders at site and global levels.
- Leverage indirect Data & Analytics COE and predictive analytic tools to enhance finance activities, pacing accuracy and provide value-add insights to operations.
- Participate LEAN and standardization initiatives across GSC delivering high impact financial analytics and controls that drive operational accountability. Participate in User Acceptance testing for new tools.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university / college in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline.
- Significant FP&A and / or Supply Chain Finance experience.
- Fluent English knowledge is essential .
- Awareness of accounting policies and practices.
- System ERP Expertise: SAP, Oracle desired.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication in Hungarian is a plus.
- Proven track record in financial processes simplification with focus on customer needs (AI implementation is a plus).
- Established project management skills.
- Working knowledge of visualization software: Power BI and Tableau.

- This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
