We are seeking Junior Data Engineers to join our dynamic team. For this edition, the bootcamp will focus on:

- Gaining hands-on exposure to Databricks and the modern data lakehouse architecture

- Building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks Workspace, SQL, and Apache Spark

- Processing large-scale datasets efficiently using distributed computing frameworks

- Implementing data governance frameworks and quality monitoring within Databricks environments

- Designing and implementing data integration flows across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Working with ETL/ELT tools, APIs and scripting languages to move, transform and expose data between different applications

- Designing data models and schemas optimized for analytical and operational workloads

- Implementing data quality checks and monitoring frameworks to ensure data reliability

You will learn how to design, build and maintain Databricks solutions that enable organizations to leverage their data for strategic insights and decision-making. Through hands-on projects, you will develop your knowledge in cloud-native data engineering practices and gain practical experience working with industry-leading data platforms.

Eligibility Criteria:

Key Qualifications (Required)

o Experience with Python programming language

o Fundamental knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

o Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms

- : Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, while also working independently when needed
- : Commitment to continuous learning and improvement throughout the course
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- : Willingness to embrace our inclusive culture and demonstrate respect for all team members

Bonus Qualifications (Highly Valued)

Cloud Experience:

- Initial hands-on experience in a cloud environment with one of the major Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Data Engineering & Platform Knowledge:

- Knowledge of Apache Spark or distributed computing frameworks

- Exposure to data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT tools, or data platforms

- Familiarity with data warehousing or data lake concepts

Language Skills:

- Knowledge of German language
