Job Summary
Responsible for partnering with field sales teams and leadership to develop and execute pricing strategies that drive profitable growth, improve margin performance, and support key business initiatives. Leverages data, analytics, and field insights to guide decision-making, influence change, and ensure consistent execution across the organization.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Partners with field leadership to identify and execute pricing strategies that improve margins, drive growth, and support business objectives.
- Translates field feedback, market conditions, and customer needs into data-driven recommendations and actionable pricing initiatives.
- Leads pricing governance, analytics, and change management efforts to improve pricing discipline and organizational effectiveness.
- Serves as a strategic advisor to sales and operational leaders, balancing field perspectives with analytical insights to drive sound business decisions.
- Influences the adoption of pricing programs, tools, and best practices that enhance profitability, consistency, and customer value.
- Leads cross-functional initiatives that advance pricing strategy, operational execution, and long-term business performance.
- Monitors pricing compliance and exception trends, partnering with field leaders to address root causes and improve pricing discipline.
- Champions change management efforts by aligning field teams around pricing initiatives, communicating the business rationale, and measuring results through defined performance metrics.
- Translates large and complex datasets into actionable insights that drive pricing strategy, margin improvement, and informed business decisions.

- Solutions require analysis and investigation.

- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors.
- Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
- Typically requires overnight travel 20% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategy, margin management, sales processes, and value-based selling.
- Experience with Tableau, Pricefx, Infor SX.e, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with field sales and operational leaders to influence business decisions and drive results.
- Experience leveraging analytics, market intelligence, and customer insights to develop actionable business strategies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with pricing systems, business intelligence tools, and large-scale data analysis.

Minimum Pay
$85,300.00
