Job Accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate an assigned cabin cleaning team to ensure aircraft cleaning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within turnaround timelines.
- Allocate duties, brief team members, and monitor cleaning progress against airline service standards and operational requirements.
- Conduct first-line inspections of completed cabin areas and ensure cleaning deficiencies are rectified promptly.
- Maintain attendance, inspection, and operational records while escalating service, conduct, resource, or operational issues to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, hygiene, chemical handling, and waste management procedures.
JOB PURPOSE
The Cabin Cleaning Team Leader leads assigned cabin cleaning teams to deliver safe, compliant, on time, and high quality aircraft cleaning in line with Velora procedures, airline standards, and turnaround requirements.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead, brief, and coordinate assigned cabin cleaners across turnaround, night-stop, general, deep cleaning, and disinfection activities.
Ensure teams arrive on time with required tools, materials, PPE, and equipment.
Allocate tasks according to aircraft type, cleaning scope, ground time, and operational priority.
Monitor progress, resolve issues quickly, and escalate delays, defects, shortages, safety hazards, or service risks.
Inspect key cabin areas before release to confirm standards are met.
Complete and submit cleaning records, checklists, and handover notes accurately and on time.
Maintain team discipline, grooming, productivity, attendance, and professional conduct.
Coach team members on cleaning standards, safe working practices, and expected behaviours.
Safety, Security, Quality, and Compliance
Ensure compliance with Velora procedures, airline requirements, airport safety rules, security controls, and applicable regulations.
Promote safe working practices, correct PPE use, safe chemical handling, FOD awareness, and timely incident reporting.
Ensure lost property, suspicious items, biohazards, and special cleaning situations are handled in line with approved procedures.
Support audits, quality checks, corrective actions, and service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in aircraft cabin cleaning.
Knowledge of cabin cleaning procedures, turnaround activity, PPE, cleaning products, and safety requirements.
Previous team leadership experience preferred.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and operationally demanding schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft cabin cleaning or cabin appearance operations.
- Previous experience leading, guiding, or coordinating a small operational team is preferred.
- Knowledge of aircraft cabin cleaning procedures, airline cleaning standards, inspections, hygiene, safety and security requirements.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
