ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about working for a global leader that brings iconic brands to consumers across the Nordics? Do you want to be part of an international and inclusive team that values collaboration, creativity and fun? Then look no further than Pernod Ricard Nordics, where conviviality is more than just a value – it's a way of life.
At the heart of our Swedish operations, this role helps keep products moving smoothly from forecast to delivery and, where relevant, supports other Nordic markets. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the V.I.E Supply Chain Planner plays an active role across demand and supply planning, inventory management, S&OP, logistics operations and data analysis in an international FMCG environment. One of the first key challenges will be supporting the transition to a new third-party logistics provider while safeguarding business continuity, product availability and service levels. To make this happen, you will work closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Pernod Ricard production and supply entities, and logistics partners.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help drive the monthly demand and supply planning process for Sweden and, where relevant, other Nordic markets.
- Turn demand forecasts into clear supply requirements and coordinate replenishment with Pernod Ricard production and supply entities.
- Keep a close eye on inventory, shortages, excess and slow-moving or obsolete stock, recommending actions that balance availability, working capital and stock coverage.
- Bring meaningful analysis and reporting to the monthly S&OP process, highlighting risks and opportunities affecting availability and inventory.
- Coordinate supply planning for new launches, limited editions and phase-in/phase-out, aligning quantities and timelines with Sales, Marketing and operational teams.
- Play an active part in the transition to a new 3PL, supporting the operational setup, inventory transfer and reconciliation, risk mitigation, KPI tracking and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Keep Sales, Marketing and Customer Service informed with timely updates on product availability.
- Track key Supply Chain KPIs—including forecast accuracy, service level, inventory coverage, out-of-stock and slow-moving inventory—and turn insights into continuous improvement actions.
WHY JOIN US
We aspire to foster an authentic, open, challenging and innovative culture that supports your long-term professional development. And so, we have created a working environment at Pernod Ricard that allows you to thrive.
We champion inclusion and value different perspectives. We want our people to be their own authentic selves and we are committed to building a workplace that reflects our global consumer base. We are proud to be recognised among Forbes World's Best Employers and Equileap's top 100 Employers for Gender Equality. Conviviality is in our DNA and connects us beyond borders – you will always be welcomed for who you are and the strengths you bring.
This role could be for you if you:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Business or a related field.
- Have gained initial experience through an internship, apprenticeship, graduate programme or first role, ideally in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics or Operations.
- Exposure to FMCG, consumer goods, retail, food & beverage or another international environment would be a strong advantage.
- Meet the applicable Business France V.I.E eligibility and administrative requirements and be available for a full-time international assignment in Stockholm.
- Understand the fundamentals of demand and supply planning, inventory management and stock optimisation.
- Are comfortable working with data, Supply Chain KPIs and cross-functional S&OP processes.
- Have very good Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Anaplan or other planning and ERP tools is an advantage.
- Are interested in logistics operations, 3PL management, product launches and lifecycle planning.
- Approach challenges with curiosity, identifying risks and turning them into practical solutions and corrective actions.
- Are organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Communicate confidently in English and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across functions and cultures; Swedish is not required.
