The Role
Cosmocert, a FCID Company, is seeking a “Accounting and Tax Manager” to support its business operations in Greece. The role will report to the Senior Accounting and Tax Manager - EMEA, located in Italy and into the local Business Manager. The role will have responsibilities over 1 direct report.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure integrity and compliance with all accounting and tax matters for Cosmocert.
Perform the monthly closing using NetSuite. Which includes, review of monthly accrual and related supporting documentation, GL accounts reconciliations/reclasses, intercompany reconciliations, AR/AP analysis, bank reconciliation.
Prepare the annual financial statement, including the minutes of BoD, the shareholder’s meeting and all the other applicable prescriptions by law. Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely local filings. 
Coordinate and oversee the tax matters supported by the local advisors and the Global Team. Tax matters are mainly related to current income taxes, DTA/DTL, VAT, WHT, R&D deductions opportunities.
Implement new accounting policies and procedures using a risk-based approach (i.e. cash collection policies, DoA, internal control matrix).

Requirements  
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
- Minimum:  2 years of experience in Audit (Big 4 or Tier 2 preferred) 
- 2 years in a multinational company

- Advanced Excel skills 
- Fluency in English

Nice to have:
- CPA or other local chartered accountant qualification
- Experience with NetSuite
- Experience with IFRS or US GAAP
