Job Description

The Business Process Specialist II – Learning & Development serves as the operational steward of Learning & Development systems, processes, and business workflows. This role bridges business needs, technology capabilities, and operational execution to ensure learning solutions are efficient, compliant, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives. The Business Process Specialist II – Learning & Development supports continuous improvement initiatives through process management, stakeholder collaboration, data analysis, testing coordination, reporting, and governance activities while maintaining a strong understanding of interconnected learning technologies and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a subject matter expert for Learning & Development systems and processes by supporting technology administration, system enhancements, issue resolution, and optimization efforts.

- Manage and execute operational workstreams, ensuring activities are prioritized, organized, and completed in accordance with established timelines, governance standards, and business objectives.

- Analyze business processes, system capabilities, and operational performance to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.

- Produce, analyze, and communicate reporting and data insights while supporting data integrity, governance, compliance, audit, and reporting requirements.

- Coordinate testing, validation, and implementation activities related to system updates, enhancements, releases, and process changes to ensure successful deployment and adoption.

- Develop and maintain business documentation, process maps, procedures, job aids, and operational standards to promote consistency, compliance, and knowledge transfer.

- Partner with business leaders, HR teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide consultation, resolve issues, and support business initiatives.

- Identify operational risks, process gaps, dependencies, and complex business issues, providing recommendations and appropriate escalation to support informed decision-making and organizational success.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

- High school diploma or GED

- Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting business systems, operational processes, analytics, project coordination, continuous improvement initiatives, or comparable functions

Preferred

- Bachelor's degree preferred

- Experience supporting enterprise technology solutions, process management, reporting, testing, and stakeholder support

- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), HR technology platforms, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar enterprise applications
