Vice President Talent & Learning
As our Vice President Talent & Learning, you hold group-wide accountability for ensuring that Vattenfall has the capabilities, capacity and leadership required to deliver on its strategic ambitions, now and in the future. You provide strategic direction and coherence across the talent and learning agenda, ensuring a consistent and group-wide approach to talent, learning, leadership development, recruitment and external workforce management.
Operating at a strategic level, you work closely with senior leaders, business areas and central functions to translate business needs into clear capability priorities and strategic choices. As a People & Culture leader, you set direction, create clarity and role model collaborative leadership in a complex stakeholder environment.
Skills: Key Responsibilities
Contribute as a value-adding member of the People & Culture Management Team, working in close partnership to setting direction and prioritising initiatives on the people agenda, while role-modelling leadership, collaboration and shared ownership across People & Culture.
Play a key role in the ongoing evolution of our People & Culture Function into a future proof People-organisation.
Demonstrate high-level strategic thinking and leadership capability to enable the end-to-end delivery of the people strategy.
Define and drive strategic direction ensuring coherence across talent, learning, leadership development, recruitment and external workforce management, aligned with current and future business needs.
Drive digitalisation and AI enablement at a strategic level across workforce, talent and learning domains to improve effectiveness, consistency and experience.
Stakeholder management at executive group level translating strategic business priorities into clear people direction and frameworks, contributing to business transformation and long-term organisational effectiveness.
Qualifications
As our Vice President Talent & Learning you are a senior leader with the ability to operate effectively at N1 level in a complex, matrix-driven organisation.
You combine strategic perspective with sound judgement and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities at group level. You lead through collaboration and influence and are a connecting force across Business Areas and Staff Functions.
You have a strong leadership track-record within the organisation. You exemplify our clients LEAD principles by: leading yourself with integrity, enabling leaders to create strong teams, aligning priorities across complex stakeholder environments, and driving performance through clarity, trust and shared accountability.
Next to this you bring:
Demonstrable experience as an (executive) leader, with responsibility for international complex, group-wide topics and senior stakeholder environments.
Relevant experience in talent acquisition, learning and (leadership) development, enabling confident ownership of long-term capability and workforce priorities.
Proven track record in operative business / strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategic business priorities into impactful people initiatives.
Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in either Swedish, German or Dutch is a plus.
