About this role
As a result of continued growth, Credeq is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to support its expanding European operations. Reporting to the Head of Finance Sweden, you will take ownership of the financial reporting operations.
This is a highly visible role that combines technical accounting expertise with operational finance leadership. You will work across Sweden and several European branches, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and compliance with local regulatory requirements while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the integrity of financial data through reconciliation of Policy Administration Systems and the General Ledger, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
- Lead financial accounting, month-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements across Sweden and European branch operations.
- Maintain robust financial controls, coordinate external audits, and drive continuous improvements in governance and reporting processes.
- Oversee treasury activities including cash management, multi-currency reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, and FX exposure control.
- Support finance transformation, business integration, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with stakeholders across the Group.
- This is an ideal role for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys combining detail-oriented financial control with a broader business perspective, comfortable operating in an international environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and taking ownership of complex accounting matters.

Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
· 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, financial control, or corporate accounting
· Experience managing statutory accounting and month-end close processes across multiple jurisdictions
· Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting standards, VAT, and tax reporting requirements
· Experience overseeing accounting activities across several European countries, ideally including the Nordic region
· Proven experience ensuring general ledger integrity, reconciliations, financial controls, and balance sheet reviews
· Experience coordinating external audits and working with auditors and regulatory stakeholders
· Hands-on treasury experience, including cash management, bank reconciliations, and FX monitoring
· Strong ERP and finance systems experience, including complex reconciliations between operational and financial systems
Even better if...
- You bring experience from insurance, trade credit, surety, financial services, or a similar regulated environment.
- Exposure to Policy Administration Systems, IFRS or Solvency II reporting, and multi-entity international accounting structures would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting acquisitions, business integrations, or finance transformation initiatives will be viewed as a strong plus
