Votre mission, si vous l'acceptez :

Une offre de stage intitulée « Vibe coding pour la génération d'outil de test de standard aéronautique (f/h) » vient de s'ouvrir au sein de Airbus Commercial Aircraft sur son site de Saint-Martin-du-Touch, à Toulouse.

Vous rejoindrez le département « 1YADC» en charge de l’architecture et de l’intégration de systèmes de connectivité et de données.

Votre stage consistera à développer un ensemble d'outils et de serveurs pour tester la conformité d'un produit à la norme ARINC 834A.

L'objectif est de permettre le test automatique des produits revendiquant la conformité à la norme ARINC 834A. Cette norme spécifie les API pour la communication entre un dispositif d'interface avion ( Aircraft Interface Device ), qui fait partie de l'aéronef, et une EFB ( Electronic Flight Bag ou sacoche de vol électronique), qui appartient généralement au pilote et est gérée par la compagnie aérienne.

Ce stage, d'une durée de 6 mois , débutera idéalement en Février (cette période est indicative et pourra être ajustée).

Vos principales missions consisteront à :

- Définir l'architecture globale de l'outillage.
- Développer un outil (serveur) auquel une application EFB se connectera afin de tester la conformité à une API (Application Programming Interface) de la norme ARINC 834A.
- Développer un outil (client) qui se connectera à un AID afin de tester la conformité à une API de la norme ARINC 834A.
- Développer des fonctionnalités de reporting pour présenter les résultats de conformité.
- Évaluer la pertinence du codage assisté par IA pour la génération du code des outils.

Votre tuteur vous accompagnera tout au long de votre stage, vous aidant à développer vos compétences et à atteindre vos objectifs professionnels.

Ce stage vous permettra notamment de développer les compétences suivantes :

- Compréhension des systèmes de connectivité aéronautique et de leurs enjeux.
- Bonnes pratiques de développement logiciel et d'API.
- Vibe coding assisté par IA.
- Découverte des environnements de test.

Votre carte d’embarquement pour cette aventure :

Vous êtes actuellement en BAC+5 en Télécom/Réseau, Informatique ou un domaine équivalent.

Vous possédez idéalement les compétences suivantes :

Compétences techniques :

- Développement d'outils IT sous Linux (Python ou similaire)
- API Standards: OpenAPI / REST, JSON Schema
- Standard network protocols (Websockets, TCP/IP, SNMP, SSH, VPN, SFTP, Telnet, etc.)

Your mission:

An internship opportunity titled: "Vibe coding for aeronautical standard test tool generation (m/f)" has just opened at Airbus Commercial Aircraft located at Saint-Martin-du-Touch, in Toulouse.

You will join the "1YADC" department in charge of the architecture and integration of connectivity and data systems.

Your internship will consist in developing a set of tools and servers to test product compliance with the ARINC 834A standard. The goal is to enable automated testing for products claiming compliance with ARINC 834A. This standard specifies the APIs for communication between an Aircraft Interface Device (AID), which is part of the aircraft, and an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), which generally belongs to the pilot and is managed by the airline.

Ideally, this is a 6-month internship and it should start in February (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of:

● Defining the overall architecture of the tooling.

● Developing a server tool to which an EFB application will connect in order to test compliance with an ARINC 834A API (Application Programming Interface).

● Developing a client tool that will connect to an AID to test compliance with an ARINC 834A API.

● Developing reporting features to present compliance results.

● Evaluating the relevance of AI-assisted coding for tool code generation.

Your tutor will support you to identify your professional objectives and develop your skills throughout your internship.

This internship will allow you to develop the following skills:

● Understanding of aeronautical connectivity systems and their challenges.

● Software and API development best practices.

● AI-assisted vibe coding.

● Discovery of test environments.

Your Boarding Pass:

You are preparing a diploma level Master's degree / Bac+5 in Telecom/Networks, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.

You possess the following competences:

Technical skills:

- IT tool development under Linux (Python or similar)

- API Standards: OpenAPI / REST, JSON Schema

- Standard network protocols (WebSockets, TCP/IP, SNMP, SSH, VPN, SFTP, Telnet, etc.)
