At Soho House Amsterdam, we're looking for a commercially minded Revenue & Reservations Manager who combines exceptional guest service with strong analytical skills. This role is responsible for driving room revenue performance while overseeing the reservations function, ensuring every booking journey is seamless and every inventory decision supports the wider business strategy.
Working closely with the Assistant General Manager and partnering across Sales, Events, Membership, Front Office and Finance, you'll play a key role in maximising occupancy, rate and overall revenue performance.
What you'll do
- Oversee the day-to-day reservations operation, ensuring all enquiries and bookings are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Manage room inventory, availability and booking restrictions to optimise business performance.
- Coordinate and manage group room blocks, ensuring the right balance between group and transient demand.
- Evaluate group booking requests based on revenue potential and business impact.
- Coordinate accommodation requirements for members, VIPs, talent, artists, productions and special events.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information across all systems.
- Monitor cancellations, no-shows and booking trends, identifying opportunities to improve performance and guest experience.
Revenue Management
- Support the execution of the hotel's revenue strategy in collaboration with the Assistant General Manager.
- Analyse market trends, booking pace and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities.
- Review and recommend pricing, inventory and restriction strategies that maximise revenue and profitability.
- Produce regular revenue and reservations reporting, providing clear insight and recommendations to leadership teams.
- Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.
- Drive initiatives that improve occupancy, ADR and overall room revenue performance.
What we're looking for
- 2-3 years' experience within Reservations, Revenue Management or a similar commercial hotel role.
- Experience in a luxury or lifestyle hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
- A collaborative approach and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
