HOW A PERSONAL COMPUTER TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Personal Computer Support Technician, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of National Institutes of Health. You will play a crucial role in assisting end users resolve technical issues.
● Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support via phone, email, web, and in-person
● Serve as the first point of contact for triaging, troubleshooting, and researching technical issues for hardware and software
● Utilize ITSM tools (such as ServiceNow) to record incident details
● Analyze help desk metrics for trend identification
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your IT expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Personal Computer Support Technician must have:
● Associates of Science Degree with 5 years of related experience or a
High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience
● 3 years of documented enterprise scale administrative experience
● ITIL V4 Foundations or the willingness to obtain after hire
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
● Ability to obtain Public Trust suitability
● Candidate must pass an NIH-specific background check
● Availability on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $32.30 - $43.70. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
