Lead Cook Supervisor (6817)

We are looking for a dependable and positive Full-Time Lead Cook/Supervisor to help lead daily kitchen operations and provide great food and service to our students and staff.

Position Details

- Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

- Full-Time

- Monday–Friday

- School-year schedule with breaks throughout the year

- Free meal during your scheduled shift

Your Role

As a Lead Cook Supervisor, you will help oversee the daily kitchen and dining operations, prepare and serve quality food, and provide leadership and support to the team

Responsibilities include

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and U Dining standards

- Oversee daily kitchen operations and keep service running smoothly

- Assist with training and directing kitchen staff

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and serving area

- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures

- Monitor food quality, portions, and presentation

- Assist with setting up and breaking down serving stations

- Provide friendly and professional service to students, staff, and customers

- Communicate effectively with management and team members

- Help with inventory, food storage, and keeping supplies organized

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude

- Be willing to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

- Previous cooking or food service experience required.

- Previous lead or supervisory experience is a MUST.

- Ability to work well with others and provide direction when needed.

- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong customer service skills.

- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and safety procedures.

- Must meet all dress code and food safety requirements.
