About this role

Two full-time school psychology internship positions are anticipated for the 2027-2028 school year. The Office of Psychological Services is a progressive office providing consultation, assessment, and intervention services to all students, in a large, very diverse suburban school district. The internship is designed to meet standards of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience

- Enrolled in a NASP and/or APA Approved Graduate Program in School Psychology.
- Graduate Program must recommend the applicant for an internship (as indicated in at least one letter of reference from a graduate program faculty member)

REFERENCES
Two letters of recommendation are required (1 from a faculty member in the applicant’s graduate program and one from a field-based experience/practicum supervisor if possible) . Letters of recommendation may be submitted to Shannon Parker, HR Analyst at [email protected].

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS : The work of this class entails physical activities such as walking and standing, lifting and carrying, and related physical duties associated with assisting students. Frequent travel to various BCPS worksites.

SALARY : Anticipated Stipend of $ 24,000.00* (*with anticipated completion date of June 30th)

Pre-Employment Requirements:

- All people employed by the Baltimore County Public Schools, regular and temporary, are required to be fingerprinted and have a criminal background investigation (per COMAR) completed. The fee charged for fingerprinting is $109.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide proper identification and documentation of eligibility for employment in the US.
- If you have military experience, you will be asked to provide a copy of DD214.
- Official transcripts will be required upon hire and must be sent via escript/clearinghouse from your university.
- Some positions will require employees to undergo a physical examination and/or drug testing.
