The Role
Support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) initiatives by analyzing legacy applications, documenting manufacturing processes, and contributing to software modernization efforts using AI-powered development tools. This role offers hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, digital transformation, and application development within a global manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do (Impact Areas)
Application Analysis & Modernization
- Study, analyze, and document the functionality, architecture, and business purpose of the legacy Unique Code application.
- Support the modernization of the Unique Code application using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude AI.
- Assist with application enhancements, testing, and documentation throughout the modernization process.
Manufacturing Process Documentation
- Walk through MES-related processes across manufacturing plants to understand operational workflows.
- Document manufacturing processes, system interactions, and technologies used within each facility.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and technical documentation to support standardization and knowledge sharing.
Digital Manufacturing & MES Support
- Gain exposure to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platforms and their integration with production operations.
- Support analysis of manufacturing data and system performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams to understand technology solutions supporting plant operations.
Project & Continuous Improvement Support
- Assist in tracking project activities, documentation updates, and action items.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing systems and digital transformation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and progress updates for stakeholders.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of programming concepts and software development.
- Interest in manufacturing technologies, digitalization, and industrial systems.
- Familiarity with process mapping and technical documentation is a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
