UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE
The Coordinator, Engagement supports the execution of regional onboarding, learning, communications and colleague engagement initiatives across the Atlantic Region. This role coordinates key programs and processes, partners with regional committees and corporate teams, and helps ensure colleagues feel connected, supported, and well-informed. Through effective program coordination and stakeholder partnership, this role contributes to colleague retention, performance, and overall team experience. This is a hybrid, regionally focused role. Team member is expected to maintain regular in-office presence in the Washington, DC office and to travel to and be physically present at team convenings held throughout the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
New Hire Onboarding & Integration
- Coordinate all regional onboarding logistics and communications in partnership with Hiring Managers; Corporate Talent Acquisition (TA), Human Resources (HR), and Learning & Development (L&D) teams; and IT.
- Support pre-start coordination and communications, including welcome emails, onboarding materials, systems access, and key introductions.
- Create and manage personalized onboarding plans, as needed, including Navigator assignments, shadowing opportunities, milestone tracking, and completion of required and recommended training.
- Partner with the Staffing lead to ensure smooth transition of new hires into client assignments.
- Track and coordinate onboarding for new Executives and Engagement Managers in partnership with Corporate L&D.
Learning & Development Coordination
- Partner with Corporate L&D on course registration, attendance tracking, and reporting.
- Support the implementation of firmwide CCS learning programs.
- Partner with Atlantic Region Learning & Development Committee on regional initiatives, providing logistical and operational support, including:
- Maintaining the Atlantic Best in Class document library and ensuring all tools and materials are current;
- Coordinating ad hoc learning sessions to address regional development needs and skill gaps; and
- Providing roster information to support learning programs, such as the Mentorship Program.
- Gather team feedback to inform the continuous improvement of learning programs and processes.
Team Engagement & Culture
- Maintain committee participation records and support committee continuity by facilitating member onboarding, offboarding, and leadership transitions.
- Coordinate Atlantic Engagement Survey, including survey deployment, response tracking, and reporting.
- Track and update participation in regional and corporate committees, leadership programs, and other engagement opportunities.
- Track and communicate colleague milestones, including birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, awards, and life events to enhance engagement and recognition.
- Partner with Atlantic Region Colleague Engagement & Culture Committee on regional initiatives, providing logistical and operational support, including:
- Virtual and in-person meetings and event support for regional convenings, including Team Conferences, Team Meetings, office hub convenings, and special events;
- Coordinating surveys and related communications; and
- Providing roster information to support engagement initiatives.
- Travel to, and provide support for, team convenings across the Atlantic region (e.g. Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Baltimore, and others).
Team Communications
- Partner with regional leadership and the Colleague Engagement & Culture Committee to develop content and materials for Team Meetings, Team Conferences, and other convenings.
- Draft, manage, and help distribute internal communications, including recognition messages, new hire and departure announcements, monthly executive updates, and corporate communications.
- Maintain regional calendars and resources that reflect all engagement and development activities.
- Support meeting follow-up documentation and communication of key outcomes.
- Manage internal SharePoint pages in partnership with Business Systems to ensure engagement-related content is current, accessible, and easy to navigate.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Staffing Coordinator to align onboarding, staffing, and engagement workflows.
- Collaborate with Corporate L&D and HR teams to share feedback and align regional initiatives with firmwide programs.
- Work with Executive Partnerships Team on event logistics and facility coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in people operations, employee engagement, learning and development, human resources, internal communications, or a related field
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, project management, and follow-through skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build relationships across levels and functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues across a variety of teams, work styles, and stakeholders
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, training programs, onboarding activities, or employee engagement initiatives preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Zoom, and Monday.com preferred
- Ability to be physically present in the Washington, DC office two to three times per week and reliably travel to team convenings across the Atlantic region, including frequent travel outside the local area and overnight travel as required

SALARY RANGE: $60,000 to $80,000
The exact salary varies within range based on years of relevant experience and education.
