Job Description
The Registration/Disclosure Desk Supervisor is responsible to manage the registration/lock process, disclosure and re-disclosure process. The Registration/Disclosure Desk Supervisor assigns responsibilities to the desk processing staff within the loan intake function, and coordinates workflows and pipelines.
Essential Functions
- Ensure compliance with Northwest policies and procedures, Federal/State regulations, Government Sponsored Entities (GSEs), Agencies (FHA; VA; USDA), third party investors, and vendors
- Communicate compliance requirements within the department
- Prepare various management statistics/reports
- Coordinate workflows and pipelines in platforms; Ensure knowledge of Encompass/Optimal Blue/Lender X, and all other related programs and software required to complete necessary tasks
- Monitor Optimal Blue and/or Pricing Automation tool for rate lock requests
- Supervise disclosure desk processing team
- Oversee Encompass pipelines for disclosure preparation and delivery to borrowers
- Monitor and assist in the disclosing of loan applications and lock confirmations, loan set-up tasks, and documentation follow-up requests; ensuring all necessary disclosures are sent within the regulatory 3-day timeframe
- Manage flood zone determination ordering and disclosure process
- Oversee change of circumstance requests; ensuring all loan re-disclosures are sent within the regulatory 3-day timeframe
- Assign responsibilities to disclosure staff within the loan setup/disclosure team
- Work to exceed production goals, where possible
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of product/delivery enhancements
- Monitor pipelines for loan registrations, loan lock confirmations, disclosures and appraisal tracking
- Manage upfront disclosure process to ensure timely delivery of all required disclosures, making sure all fees are in compliance to avoid negative monetary implications
- Maximize all technology tools available
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree finance/business related subject preferred
- Bachelor's Degree finance/business related subject preferred
- 5 - 6 years experience in the Mortgage Industry or Real Estate field preferred
- 3 - 5 years customer service experience and administrative experience required
- Ability to be very detail orientated
- Ability to analyze financial data
- Ability to understand financial markets and the effect of fluctuations in the economy on pricing practices
