About this role
The Contract Manager performs legal analysis in a business context and provides recommendations based on such analysis to minimize legal risk to the Inmar companies ("Company"), while still allowing the Company to conduct business effectively and serve its clients.
Typical duties relate to managing the contracting process within the Legal Department, including process management, negotiation with clients, analysis of legal provisions from a risk perspective, and analysis of business terms within the context of the service lines. Excellent analytical and drafting skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally, are fundamental and critical to this position.
The associates must be located in the Winston-Salem, NC area as they will need to work from the office on a hybrid basis.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Operational Draft, edit, and review substantive legal provisions for contracts between Inmar and external customers and vendors; work to standardize contracts into legal templates where appropriate (and update/revise such templates as necessary
- Conduct legal analysis to ensure Inmar contracts appropriately protect the interests of Inmar and propose contractual solutions to business problems
- Develop new contracts and contract templates for new product lines and services
- Seek and document internal approvals for business and financial terms for contracts
- Negotiate contract provisions
- Strategic Assist with a variety of legal issues, including but not limited to employment law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy and collections, and intellectual property Support acquisition work including integration
- Advise internal business clients regularly about contract provisions and contracting process, including agreement status, risk profiles and service terms
- Develop a solid understanding of the business operations to ensure that the needs of the business are met and be able to articulate legal issues clearly to the business principals
- Influence Assist General Counsel in developing and communicating Inmar policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and assistance to junior Contract Managers and Paralegals as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Business, Political Science, or related field required required
- 8+ years of related work experience in working with corporate B2B contracts; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position required
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office products
