Program Summary
Leidos supports critical missions within the Directorate of Operations and Directorate of Cybersecurity, delivering systems engineering solutions that enable cryptanalysis, foreign intelligence operations, and protection of National Security Systems. Our team explores, designs, and integrates emerging technologies to provide the nation with a decisive advantage over adversaries.
Job Summary
We're seeking a Systems Engineer I to perform requirements analysis, solution design, and systems integration for cryptologic and cybersecurity missions. You'll develop technical architectures, conduct value modeling and analysis of alternatives, and support prototype development from concept through deployment in support of DO and CSD operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop system requirements, CONOPs, and design documentation through stakeholder analysis and feasibility studies
- Perform functional analysis and synthesis; conduct value modeling and risk analysis to identify optimal solutions
- Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs), data-flow diagrams, XML schemas, and metadata models
- Plan and execute integration and testing of prototypes following NSA Test and Evaluation standards
- Support hardware/software configuration management and troubleshooting of system failures
- Coordinate knowledge transfer and facilitate adoption of new processes with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 3 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree in Engineering plus 1 year, OR Doctoral degree in Engineering
- Alternatively: Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics with equivalent experience
- For non-ABET programs: degree must include differential and integral calculus plus 5 of 18 specified technical areas*
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Experience with requirements analysis, system design, and integration activities
- Ability to work in a SCIF environment and travel as needed

## Pay Range:
Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00
