Location: ASVH - Tucson, AZ
Schedule: 12-hour shifts 6AM–6:30PM
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide geriatric nursing care to residents at the Arizona State Veteran Home in Tucson. The Floor RN will administer medications and treatments, assess residents, maintain clinical documentation, support care plans, and provide guidance to nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents.
- Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
- Assess residents and monitor changes in physical and behavioral conditions.
- Complete nursing assessments, care plans, and required documentation.
- Communicate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide direction and support to CNA's and other nursing staff.
- Participate in staff training, in-services, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment.
Requirements:
- Active RN license/certification
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Food Handler’s Card.
- TB Skin Test
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- COVID-19 vaccination or declination
