About this role

The Senior Manager, HCB Training Design & Enablement is responsible for designing scalable learning and performance solutions that enable team members, leaders, and future franchise operators to successfully operate a Madison Reed Hair Color Bar (HCB).

This role serves as the HCB organization’s lead instructional designer and learning architect, translating business priorities, operating standards, technical expertise, and guest experience expectations into practical, engaging learning experiences.

This is a highly building and hands-on role, not an oversight role. The Senior Manager sets the design standard for HCB learning and holds it by working in the material: making the architecture decisions, then personally producing the highest-stakes onboarding programs, instructor-led and digital learning, assessments, certifications, facilitator resources, job aids, and performance-support tools rather than briefing them out. This role also owns the HCB learning technology experience and management of the LMS for the HCB population.

Reporting to VP, HCB Operations Services & Training, the Senior Manager helps shape field communication and enablement approaches for key HCB initiatives, leads the HCB Communications & Operations Specialist and partners closely with the Director, HCB Field Training, HCB Operations, Field Operations, Franchise, Marketing, People & Culture, Technology, and subject-matter experts.

The base salary range for this position is between 120,000 and 125,000, is full time and exempt, and is expected to travel less than 25% of the time, including but not limited to Hair Color Bars, company events, and meetings.

At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
