About the Role McKesson is seeking a Lead S/4 Transformation Specialist to lead the strategy, performance, and operational excellence of critical SAP platforms and enterprise services. This leader will own end-to-end service performance, ensuring platform stability, availability, reliability, and business continuity across SAP S/4HANA environments and related integrations.

The role partners closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service operations, drive continuous improvement, optimize service performance, and ensure alignment with enterprise business objectives. This position is responsible for establishing service management best practices while leading strategic initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and business value.

What You'll Do

● Lead end-to-end service ownership for SAP S/4HANA platforms and associated technology services.

● Direct day-to-day service operations, including incident, problem, change, and release management processes.

● Ensure service availability, stability, reliability, and business continuity for mission-critical SAP applications.

● Establish and govern SLA and OLA performance metrics, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

● Partner with business and technology leaders to prioritize service investments, enhancements, and operational roadmaps.

● Oversee major incident response, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and service recovery activities.

● Lead service performance reviews, KPI reporting, vendor governance, and executive-level communications.

● Drive service management maturity through ITIL-aligned processes, automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Requirements

● 10+ years of progressive experience in SAP service management, enterprise applications, IT operations, or related technology leadership roles.

● Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

● Experience leading enterprise-scale SAP S/4HANA service delivery and operations.

● Experience managing incident, problem, change, and release management processes.

● Experience managing end-to-end service performance, availability, reliability, and business continuity for critical technology services.

● Experience defining, monitoring, and managing SLAs and OLAs for availability, response, and resolution metrics.

● Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and integrations with SAP MM, SD, and Finance modules.

● Experience supporting Finance configuration, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

Preferred Skills/Experience

● Experience leading large-scale ERP transformation, modernization, or migration initiatives.

● ITIL certification or advanced knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks.

● Experience managing enterprise service portfolios, budgets, and vendor relationships.

● Knowledge of CMDB governance, service mapping, and operational resilience best practices.

● Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, or other highly regulated industries.

● Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

● Experience building executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and operational reporting strategies.

● Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through service transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.   In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

€83,100 - €138,500
