Job Description
Associa On Call is hiring a Maintenance Coordinator for its corporate office in Columbia, MD.
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, scheduling, operational, and customer service support to the Maryland Maintenance & Construction Division. This position serves as a key point of contact between field technicians, vendors, contractors, property/community association managers, and internal management to ensure maintenance and construction work orders are properly received, scheduled, communicated, completed, documented, and billed.The Maintenance Coordinator must be highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple work orders and projects simultaneously. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, the ability to prioritize changing demands, and a willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities from the initial request through completion and billing.The position will support both routine maintenance and larger maintenance/construction projects and may occasionally assist with project coordination and onsite vendor meetings. The Maintenance Coordinator will also participate in a rotating after-hours emergency dispatch schedule.
This is an ONSITE role in Columbia, MD working 8am-5pm and rotating emergency on-call during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Hourly pay rate: $26-$28.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of experience in residential management or construction industries in customer service, scheduling, estimating, or project management.
- Working knowledge of residential maintenance, repair, and/or construction for single-family, multifamily, condominium, HOA, or community association properties.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with community managers, residents when applicable, vendors, contractors, technicians, and internal management.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, multi-task work environment with interruptions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, manage time and meet deadlines, prioritize and be decisive.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, vendors, contractors, community managers, and internal management.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
