- Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or a similar systems programming language.

- Foundational understanding of software and device security concepts such as secure boot, cryptography, authentication, access control, PKI, or application sandboxing.

- Experience developing or debugging software in embedded, Linux, AOSP, Windows, or similar environments.

- Understanding of software development fundamentals, including debugging, testing, code reviews, source control, and software development lifecycle practices.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional partners to solve technical problems.

- Strong interest in developing deeper expertise in device security, cryptography, privacy, and secure systems.

Preferred Skills

- Experience or coursework involving embedded systems, consumer electronics, IoT, operating systems, firmware, or device security.

- Familiarity with AOSP or Linux security technologies such as TrustZone, TEE, Android Verified Boot (AVB), Keystore, or SELinux.

- Familiarity with common cryptographic concepts, authentication mechanisms, certificates, or PKI.

- Exposure to hardware-backed security, secure elements, TPMs, biometric systems, or trusted execution environments.

- Experience with security testing, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, or secure coding practices.

- Familiarity with privacy and security frameworks or standards such as GDPR, CCPA, or ISO.
