Responsibilities and Duties:

- Own team bookings and revenue targets — hold Sales Executives accountable to activity, pipeline, and forecast commitments, and intervene early when performance slips.

- Set a standard of consistently exceeding quota, not just meeting it, and coach the team relentlessly toward that bar.

- Manage the team of Sales Executives to successful outcomes — supporting deal strategy, sales process, contracting, and client relationship management.

- Cultivate and grow talent through a robust learning and development program for new hires and existing reps, while managing out underperformance when coaching doesn't close the gap.

- Own sales performance tracking and forecasting, with a bias toward accuracy — no surprises in forecast calls.

- Partner with Marketing, Partnerships, and Origination teams to maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.

- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Sales Ops to streamline cross-functional deal processes.

- Coach reps through complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles — from first meeting through contract execution.

- Develop and execute sales strategy for EaaS solutions, identifying new business opportunities within target verticals.

- Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders (procurement, sustainability, finance) alongside reps on strategic deals.

- Work with Legal and Finance to structure and negotiate deal terms that meet client requirements and Redaptive's financial goals (e.g., equipment leases, Power Purchase Agreements, Energy Service Agreements, EaaS structures).

- Provide regular, accurate reporting — sales forecasts, pipeline health, market and competitive insights — to senior leadership.

Required Abilities and Skills:

- Ownership mentality — takes full accountability for team results and leads through misses rather than deflecting them.

- Demonstrated ability to hold reps accountable to clear performance standards, including direct, difficult conversations when needed.

- Highly motivated, hands-on sales leader with a track record of developing reps and driving consistent team growth.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to coach reps on articulating complex financial and ROI concepts to C-suite executives.

- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

- Analytical mindset — comfortable reviewing deal economics, pipeline data, and forecasts.

- Strong prioritization and project management skills to drive output across a team and multiple cross-functional stakeholders.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; able to break down complex deal structures for a diverse set of stakeholders.

- Collaborative problem-solver with tremendous attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA a plus but not required.

- 5+ years in a sales leadership/management role, plus 10+ years total experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions to large enterprises — with both a personal and team track record of consistently exceeding quota (not just hitting it) and closing deals of $5M+ in annual contract value.

- Demonstrated experience building a culture of accountability — clear metrics, regular pipeline reviews, and a track record of addressing underperformance directly.

- Experience selling to C-suite financial stakeholders (CFO, Treasury, VP Finance) rather than only technical or operational buyers.

- Comfortable managing 9-18 month sales cycles involving procurement, finance, legal, and facilities stakeholders across multiple deal phases.

- Experience contracting, pricing, structuring, and analyzing development projects across sectors such as commercial and industrial, real estate development, healthcare, and generation or utility projects.

- Familiarity with project finance, credit structuring, or off-balance-sheet financing concepts (e.g., PPAs, ESAs, equipment leasing) is a strong plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems (Salesforce).

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Required.

- 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years of related experience in energy project construction, technical sales, or energy engineering. Required.

- PE and CEM preferred.

- Construction management experience preferred.

- Procurement experience preferred.
