Job Description
Overview
Great leaders aren't born in a classroom, but the right learning experience helps them get there faster. As a Leadership Development Facilitator, you'll create learning experiences that help leaders at every level lead with clarity, candor and confidence. That includes new people managers through senior executives.
You'll lead workshops in person and virtually. You'll partner with business line executives to understand what their leaders need. You'll also help shape solutions that build capability across the enterprise. This role is for a facilitator who can consult, design and deliver, not only present.
What you'll do
- Lead high-impact leadership experiences. Facilitate enterprise programs and custom leader sessions in person and virtually. Topics range from foundational management skills to executive-level team development.
- Bring presence to every room. Build trust quickly, handle complex conversations with composure, and adjust in the moment when leaders push back or discussions go off-script.
- Partner with executives and HR leaders. Work with senior stakeholders to diagnose needs, recommend the right solution, and connect the learning to business strategy and outcomes.
- Shape learning solutions. Contribute to needs analysis, design and enhancement. Influence facilitator guides, activities and debriefs so programs land with leaders.
- Measure and improve impact. Use learner feedback, survey data and observation evidence to refine delivery and strengthen programs.
- Run strong execution. Own session readiness, including rosters, technology, materials and communications, so every experience runs smoothly.
- Develop yourself and others. Take part in observation and coaching cycles, share best practices, and help raise the standard for facilitation across the team.
What you bring
- Proven experience facilitating leadership or management development, ideally with senior leader or executive audiences
- Strong executive presence and the credibility to challenge leaders' thinking respectfully
- Skill in leading conversations about feedback, accountability, coaching and change
- Business acumen: you can connect learning to strategy, performance and results
- Experience consulting with stakeholders and contributing to learning design
- Comfort using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Fluency in virtual facilitation tools and engaging hybrid delivery
- Learning agility: you absorb new content quickly and deliver it with confidence
- 8+ years in facilitation, learning, or training, with real depth facilitating for senior and executive audiences
- Willingness to work in-office 3+ days per week and travel up to 25%, facilitating in person when the program calls for it
- Deep understanding of facilitation as a craft and of adult learning delivery
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of learning & development, HR, or business experience
Preferred qualifications
- Certification in leadership models or programs (for example, Crucial Conversations, Radical Candor or similar)
