Job Description:

Quadrus Corporation is seeking a motivated Mechanical or Aerospace Engineers, from newly graduated to 10 years' experience, to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on experience designing, analyzing, testing, and improving rocket propulsion components. You will work closely with senior engineers on real projects while developing foundational skills in design, analysis, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the design, development, and analysis of mechanical and aerospace components, assemblies, and systems using CAD and analysis tools.

- Perform basic structural, thermal, fluid, or kinematic analyses under guidance.

- Assist with prototype development, testing, data collection, and documentation of results.

- Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate design intent and findings.

- Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

- Support program prove-out, first-article validation, and process troubleshooting as needed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, testing, and project management) to meet project milestones.

- Follow established engineering processes, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field

- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals: statics, dynamics, strength of materials, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

- Proficiency with at least one major CAD package (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or similar).

- Familiarity with engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent) is a plus.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills.

- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Internship, co-op, senior design project, or research experience related to mechanical or aerospace systems.

- Exposure to metal additive manufacturing, rocket propulsion systems, structural or fluids analysis, or systems engineering.

- Basic programming or scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, etc.).

- Familiarity with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, or aerospace standards.

- Hands-on experience in a lab, shop, or test environment.
