Reporting directly to the Plant Manager , you as a Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the plant Quality organization and establishing a strong culture of Built-in Quality, Customer Focus, and Continuous Improvement. You will lead the transition from a reactive to a preventive quality organization by leveraging data, risk management, process controls, structured problem solving, and cross-functional leadership to improve customer satisfaction, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and Quality Management System requirements.
You will own the overall quality strategy and performance of the manufacturing operation, including customer quality, manufacturing and process quality, incoming and supplier quality, quality systems, product reliability, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will also lead and develop the Quality organization, drive quality improvement through automation and digitalization, and ensure effective containment, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer communication.
About the Job:
- Lead the plant Quality organization and promote Quality ownership across all functions, reinforcing that quality is built into the process rather than inspected into the product.
- Develop and execute the plant Quality Strategy, objectives, and improvement roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Lead the transition from reactive to preventive quality through data-driven decision making, risk management, process controls, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and coach teams in structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, Pareto Analysis , and other root-cause analysis tools.
- Ensure timely and effective containment, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and customer communication.
- Monitor customer PPM, complaints, returns, warranty trends, and recurring quality issues, developing actions to improve performance.
- Lead customer quality activities and ensure customer requirements are effectively addressed.
- Oversee manufacturing and process quality to ensure consistent product and process performance.
- Lead incoming and supplier quality activities and support effective resolution of supplier-related quality issues.
- Maintain and continuously improve the plant Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Drive quality improvement through automation, digitalization, advanced inspection, and data analytics where technically and financially justified.
- Lead and develop Quality Engineers, Supplier/Incoming Quality, Quality Technicians, Inspectors, and related functions.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other functions to prevent quality issues and improve manufacturing performance.
- Identify opportunities to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), improve process capability, and strengthen overall plant quality performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and customer focus.
- Travel to the United States as required, approximately 10% of the time.

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline .
- Experience in electrical, electronics, electromechanical, automotive, HVAC, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Experience leading Quality functions and developing Quality teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing technologies .
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, process control, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, and Pareto Analysis .
- Strong customer-focused mindset and experience addressing customer quality requirements and issues.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different functions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop and execute quality strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Conversational English.
