WHAT YOULL DO & HOW IT SHAPES OUR SUCCESS

Hallmark is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Basis Administrator to support, maintain, and evolve our enterprise SAP landscape. This role is responsible for the technical administration, performance, availability, security, and operational stability of SAP platforms across development, quality assurance, and production environments. The Senior SAP Basis Administrator will partner closely with SAP Functional teams, Development teams, Infrastructure, Security, and external partners to ensure reliable and secure SAP operations while supporting strategic transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA modernization efforts. The position requires strong technical expertise in SAP Basis administration with specific experience supporting SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) environments.

Responsibilities Include:

SAP Basis Administration

- Administer and support SAP environments including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SCM, SAP EWM, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Solution Manager, SAP Data Services, and related SAP technologies.

- Perform SAP installations, upgrades, enhancement packages, support packs, kernel upgrades, and system refreshes.

- Manage transports and technical changes across SAP landscapes.

- Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and health to ensure service level objectives are achieved.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Basis-related incidents, problems, and system issues.

- Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and operational documentation. SAP SCM and EWM Administration

- Administer and support SAP SCM and SAP EWM technical environments.

- Monitor and maintain SCM and EWM system performance, integrations, background processing, and technical operations.

- Support implementation activities, upgrades, patches, refreshes, and transport management within SCM and EWM landscapes.

- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure system reliability and performance. Technical Operations and Infrastructure Support

- Maintain the stability, availability, and performance of mission-critical SAP systems.

- Manage system copies, client copies, environment refreshes, and landscape synchronization activities.

- Support background job management, spool administration, RFC connectivity, interface monitoring, and system integration troubleshooting.

- Coordinate disaster recovery planning, backup validation, recovery testing, and business continuity activities.

- Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities as required.

Security, Compliance, and Governance

- Partner with SAP Security teams to support user administration, audits, compliance initiatives, and access governance activities.

- Support SAP GRC integrations and technical security controls.

- Assist with audit remediation efforts and compliance requirements.

- Ensure adherence to organizational security standards, change management processes, and operational controls.

SAP S/4HANA Transformation Support

- Support SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrade, and modernization initiatives.

- Participate in technical assessments, environment planning, cutover activities, and go-live support.

- Collaborate with architects, project teams, and system integrators to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Provide technical leadership during issue resolution and critical production events.

Collaboration and Leadership

- Serve as a technical advisor to project teams and business stakeholders.

- Collaborate with SAP, cloud providers, system integrators, and support vendors to resolve complex technical issues.

- Mentor junior team members and promote operational excellence within the SAP support organization.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following are required to be considered for this role:

- Bachelors degree or 4 years of professional experience

- At least 5 years of SAP Basis administration experience supporting large enterprise SAP environments.

- Hands-on experience administering:

SAP ECC

- SAP S/4HANA

- AP SCM

- SAP EWM

- SAP NetWeaver environments

- Experience with:

SAP transport management

- SAP upgrades, support packs, and patching

- Performance monitoring and tuning

- System refreshes and client copies

- Backup and recovery processes

- SAP security administration support

- Operating system and database coordination

- Incident, change, and problem management processes

- Ability to support production systems and participate in after-hours support activities when required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have the following:

- SAP Basis, SAP Technology, or SAP S/4HANA certification.

- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation programs.

- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

- Experience supporting cloud-based SAP environments, including AWS and RISE with SAP.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP GRC, and Focused Run.

- Experience supporting Taulia solutions and integrations.

- Experience supporting Precisely Automate (formerly Winshuttle) administration and SAP automation solutions.

- Experience supporting SAP integration technologies and middleware platforms.

- Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, and supply chain operations.

- The salary range for this role is $110k - $120k. Final compensation varies based on several factors.
