We are seeking a part-time Special Events Staff team member to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will support the execution of concerts, special events, and other activations by assisting with event setup and breakdown, maintaining an active presence throughout the venue, and supporting day-of operations.

Responsibilities include engaging with guests, monitoring event spaces, helping ensure a safe and positive environment, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences while representing the Otherworld brand.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist with the setup of concerts and special events, including arranging furniture and
equipment, supporting load-in and load-out, and following floor plans and diagrams to
prepare event spaces.
● Support concerts and special events by maintaining an active presence throughout the
venue, monitoring exhibits and event areas, assisting guests, completing janitorial
duties, removing trash, and providing general support for event coordination and
logistics.
● Assist with event breakdown and post-event cleanup, ensuring the venue and exhibits
are cleaned, reset, and returned to their normal operating condition.
● Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment by identifying and reporting safety
concerns, spills, damaged exhibits, or other operational issues to management.
● Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful execution of concerts and
special events.

Qualifications

What Were Looking For

- ● At least 1 year of experience working in events, entertainment, hospitality, or venue operations preferred.

- ● Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- ● Comfortable working in crowded, high-energy, and loud environments.

- ● Enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate about providing exceptional guest service.

- ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging presence.

- ● Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to changing event needs and challenges.

- ● Comfortable performing general cleaning and janitorial duties and committed to maintaining company cleanliness and operational standards.

- ● Availability to work a variable, event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays. Hours will vary based on the concert and special events calendar, and there may be limited or no scheduled hours during periods without events.

- ● Must be at least 18 years of age.

Please Note: This is a part-time, variable-hour position dedicated to supporting Otherworld
Philadelphia concerts, special events, and special activations. Work schedules will be based on
the event calendar, business volume, and operational needs. Weekly hours are not guaranteed
and may vary, including periods when no shifts are available. From time to time, the Company
may offer additional shifts based on event needs. Unless specifically scheduled for an on-call
shift, employees are not required to remain available or contact the Company to determine
whether work is available.
