Job Description

Perform electronic & electrical repairs and installations for a wide variety of applications within the Rutland operation. Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electronic equipment such as CNC controls, tool positioning systems, PLC’s and measuring quality control equipment & electrical distribution equipment. Extensive use of electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, recorders, component testers and simulators. Interpret complex schematics and logic/ladder diagrams. Utilize technical and reference manuals. Bench skills required include soldering, component replacement, and PCB repair. Extensive knowledge of electrical and electronic theory. Required to complete various tasks encompassed by any previously held maintenance position.

NOTES

- Plant assignment could change according to workload.
- Position could require working some holidays, shutdowns, and OT.
- Position may require temporary shift changes.
- This role will be a Weekend Work Shift: 1st Week Starts Sunday Night at 10:30pm and goes to Friday Morning at 6:30am.
- 2nd Week Sunday night at 10:30pm, Monday, Tuesday Night (Wednesday and Thursday Night off) Friday and Saturday night on.

Minimum Requirement s

- Extensive knowledge of GE Maintenance and facility operations
- Maintenance MR/ER certified
- Excellent communication skills
- Good computer skills, Microsoft Office and Maximo
- Exceptional Attention to Detail
- Commitment to team goals
- High peer and production area credibility
- Demonstrated follow through on projects and tasks assigned.
- In depth PLC & Ladder Logic Knowledge
- This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations, working with chemicals, and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek.  As such a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Desirable Qualification s

- Broad range of GE equipment repair experience
- Vermont Electrical License
- Project management experience
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills

The pay for this position is  45.86/hr. This posting is expected to close on  12/31/2026 .
