How You Can Play a Key Role as a Behavior Support Program Assistant

- Support the community living supervisor and the operations of the Supervised Living Program

- Support direct support professionals interacting with person served

- Help train and guide new/substitute staff

- Support individuals diagnosed with a disability and medical needs in a group home setting

- Promote positive engagement, independence, and meaningful activity for those we serve

Schedule and Pay Rate

Typical work schedule: M-F 12PM-8PM.

$18.50/hourly

However, will be expected to work outside of these hours including weekends if needed.

Requirements for the Behavior Support Program Assistant role

- Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate

- BA/BS or some college courses preferred.

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Valid Driver's License for a minimum of two years with a good driving record.

- Must be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.

- Previous supervisor experience preferred

- OPTIONAL: ASL (American Sign Language) preferred, but NOT required.
