BlackSky is looking for a highly-organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our People team! The ideal candidate should be comfortable in navigating complex schedules, facilitating the administrative operations in recruiting and onboarding, and should have a passion for providing candidates with a seamless and positive experience. A successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and is expected to leverage effective communication and interpersonal skills to partner successfully with our recruiters and People team, hiring managers, interviewers and incoming candidates. You will need the ability to exercise sound judgment and be able to communicate with an air of calm in all aspects of scheduling and coordinating.

Outside of recruiting responsibilities, this position supports onboarding tasks and ensuring that candidates are successfully set up for their first day. This position will report to the Manager, People & Culture and is a hybrid position supporting our Seattle, WA office. In person responsibilities will be tied to overseeing on-site candidate interviews and assisting with other People tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview panel members, including complex or multi-stage interview schedules.

- Facilitate in-person interviews and/or candidate presentations when needed.

- Serve as a point of contact for candidates and hiring managers during initial scheduling and for any updates or cancellations.

- Prepare, distribute, track, and upload candidate confidentiality agreements and other required recruiting documentation as candidates progress through the interview process.

- Conduct professional reference checks for candidates selected for hire and ensure appropriate documentation is completed and maintained.

- Support pre-hire administrative activities and ensure candidate information and required documentation are completed prior to onboarding.

- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within ATS (Greenhouse) and other People tools.

- Assist all recruiters and hiring managers with administrative and operational needs throughout the recruiting lifecycle.

- Conduct initial or structured interviews for select entry-level, junior, or high-volume roles, as needed.

- Help maintain recruiting templates, interview materials, candidate communications, and process documentation.

- Monitor recruiting processes for outstanding actions and proactively follow up with candidates and internal stakeholders to keep hiring processes moving.

- Support reporting, data tracking, and other Talent projects as needed.

- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling candidate and employee information.

- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Talent operations and/or recruiting.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

- Previous experience using an ATS (we use Greenhouse!).

- Strong organizational skills, including experience managing and scheduling across complex calendars.

- Experience supporting multiple recruiters/hiring managers for high-volume scheduling and coordination.

- Understanding of recruiting compliance and reporting.

- Excellent communication as well as demonstrated multi-tasking capabilities and work ethic.

- Experience multi-tasking in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

- Experience managing calendars using Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the space/satellite industry.

- Experience with full-cycle recruiting.

The anticipated hourly range for candidates in Washington is $35 - $45 per hour. The final compensation package offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on specific background and education. BlackSky is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect salary ranges in other states or locations outside of Seattle, WA.
