About this role

Operational Planner
The Opportunity:

As an Operational Planner for the U.S. Army, you'll bring strategic, operational, tactical, data analysis, and program management expertise to collaborate and coordinate planning and activities at an Army Service Component Command in support of real-world operations in Europe and Africa.

You will lead and participate in mission planning, analyze policies and procedures, develop and implement programs, and provide subject matter expertise for deliberate and crisis action planning and logistic planning. Additionally, you'll provide research, analysis, and technical expertise in the development of Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Orders, Concept Plans (CONPLANs), and Operation Plans (OPLANs). Your strategic experience will drive and develop Campaign Plans for the headquarters, as well as tackle emerging priorities. You'll apply expertise to assist in the planning and coordination of exercises, training, and operational activities in support of emerging requirements. You’ll liaise with Joint and multi-national military organizations and the inter-agency. Work with us in a dynamic environment to plan for and respond to real world events in Europe and Africa.

You Have:

- 6+ years of experience with the military and military operations
- 2+ years of experience with the Military Decision-Making Process, planning, coordinating, taskers or taskings, and executing military operations and exercises at the Division level or higher
- 2+ years of experience writing CONOPS and Orders
- 2+ years of experience working with NATO Allies, Partner Nations, and the Inter-Agency
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

- Experience with Movement and Logistic Planning at a three-star or above military headquarters
- Experience working with current operations, future operations, and data assessment and collection
- Experience with Data Analytics and Data Science applications
- Experience with Palantir and Maven Smart Systems (MSS)
- Experience with knowledge and data management
- Experience with NATO Centers of Excellence
- Knowledge of NATO Planning Process
- Master’s degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
