Job Overview:

The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Cash Management serves as a strategic operational leader responsible for advancing the Cash Management function's operational effectiveness, risk posture, organizational capability, and future-state roadmap. This role partners closely with the VP and cross-functional stakeholders to drive large-scale process improvements, remediation initiatives, capacity planning, workforce development, and operational readiness across the Cash Management organization.

The AVP provides leadership across Cash Management operations, including wires, ACH transactions, journals, checks, and related money movement services, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing. The role partners closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Service, and Business stakeholders to enhance the client experience, strengthen risk management practices, improve operational efficiency, and achieve service-level commitments. The AVP is responsible for developing operational roadmaps, leading continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring emerging leaders, and driving a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with the VP in leading Cash Management operations, including wires, ACH, checks, journals, and other money movement activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
- Drive operational performance through the management of key metrics, service levels, business cycle times, productivity, and quality standards.
- Maintain a strong risk and control environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit expectations.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Technology, Service, and Business leaders to improve processes, mitigate risk, and enhance the client experience.
- Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce operational risk, and support business growth.
- Develop and coach leaders and associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and high performance.
- Provide strategic direction, capacity planning, and operational readiness to support changing business needs and volume demands.
- Develop and execute the Cash Management operational roadmap, including process optimization, capacity planning, automation opportunities, remediation efforts, and organizational readiness initiatives.

- Communicate operational performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Identify and lead implementation of process automation, AI-enabled workflows, and operational improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and risk management.
- Serve as an escalation leader for high-profile advisor, client, and executive concerns requiring cross-functional coordination and resolution.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of direct people leadership experience, including leadership of managers and cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Demonstrated experience leading Cash Management, Money Movement, Banking Operations, or related operational functions.
- Understanding of wire processing, ACH transactions, payment operations, and operational controls.
- FINRA Series 99 required

Pay Range:
$82,812.00 - $137,917.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
