Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:
Conduct systems engineering, integration, requirements management, and analysis to support a DoW client with a primary focus on ground vehicle programs. Leverage model–based systems engineering techniques and tools to develop and mature system models, including behavior, structure, and other architectural elements, and comprehend and apply systems engineering best practices. Develop, allocate, and maintain system and subsystem requirements. Assess requirements quality, resolve issues with technical experts, and support reviews and verification planning. Leverage requirements management and digital engineering tools to advance baseline development and reporting. Lead and manage requirements configuration efforts across multiple programs.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
- 5+ years of experience with SySML, MBSE, or digital engineering
- Experience with software configuration management and tools, including JIRA, SVN, Bitbucket, and Git
- Ability to read, understand, and apply technical documents, standards, specifications, and engineering data
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with military vehicles, automotive systems, robotics, UAS or C-UAS, or electro-mechanical systems
- Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes
- Possession of excellent written communication, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Secret clearance
- SysML, MBSE, or Digital Engineering Certification
- INCOSE Certification
- Completion of INCOSE coursework or systems engineering training

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
